Return to work coaching would suit those who have had a period of time out of the workplace. This may be due to maternity or paternity leave; perhaps ill-health; caring for a loved one or undertaking a period of research or a sabbatical.
Irrespective of your profession there are common threads that weave their way through this shared experience.
- Regaining your work identity.
- Exploring your values and motivations which change throughout our lives.
- Deciding whether you wish to return to a previous role or explore other options.
- Looking at short, medium and long-term goals to support your clarity and purpose.
- Improving your confidence in interacting with others whether it's giving presentations, networking or speaking to suppliers and customers.
- Still finding the time for other life commitments.
Does this sound like you?
If so, then one-to-one coaching will provide you with the time and space needed to explore these issues; helping you to step back into the workplace with clarity, confidence and conviction.
You may be keen to have your first coaching session as soon as possible. Others may have questions or would like to discuss their situation prior to starting coaching. If so, I'd be very happy to arrage with you a free 20-minute phone call where we can explore whether you're in the right place for coaching at present. It's also the time to check we're a great match from a coaching point of view.
Once you're happy, we can book your first four coaching sessions. I'm very mindful of todays pressures, and that you may not be able to commit to certain dates at the start, but that's okay. I'm sensitive to the need for flexibility, therefore dependant on demand, sessions can be scheduled up to 72 hours prior to the appointment.
During the first coaching session we discuss your situation, motivations, values, goals and dreams. We also take an overview of coaching, what it involves, and what to expect from one another. It's a full session, and for this reason, often lasts longer (up to 120 minutes). The usual coaching sessions will last 90 minutes.
When people arrive at coaching it is often because they have reached a point where they need to make some real changes. To acheive these kind of changes it commonly will take at least four coaching sessions. That's not to say that there is no benefit in a single session, there is. However, it is unlikely to be the long-lasting transformation change you're looking for. If following this you're eager to continue on your journey, then further sessions can be arranged.
Still not sure? Contact me to arrange a free phone-call. We can discuss your situation and coaching needs. There's no obligation, it's not a hard sell, it's just to establish whether it's the right path for you at this time.
I look forward to hearing from you.
